Credits

One credit is a tenth of a cent: a thousand credits to the dollar. The small unit is what lets watching a device be charged by the hour, exactly.

Remote sessions: by the gigabyte

Not by the minute. An idle hour sends almost nothing and a busy one sends a lot, so minutes wouldn't measure anything. A connection that goes straight between your devices costs a third of one that has to go through our relay.

These are at the standard picture quality, which caps an hour at 3.6 GB. A bigger screen doesn't raise that cap, but it reaches it more often, because every change on a 4K screen covers four times as many pixels. A higher quality setting can use more. The app prefers a direct connection between your devices, and uses the relay only when it can't make one.

Watching your devices: by the month, charged by the day

Each device's readings, dashboard, history and alerts. The more devices you watch, the less each one costs.

$5 a month for your first device, $2 for each of the next six, and $1 for each one after that.

It's charged once a day, and priced by the hour within it: a day costs a thirtieth of the monthly price, counted only for the hours each device was reporting. A device that's switched off costs nothing for that time, and nothing is paid in advance, so there is no rest of a month to lose.

Credits can't be bought yet. While telemotely is being tested, every new account starts with free credits to try it with. These are the packs we plan to offer; this page will say when they're on sale.

Planned prices, in US dollars, and the same on the web, in the App Store and on Google Play. The smallest pack is about 120 hours of ordinary remote work over a direct connection, or 40 hours through the relay, or two months of watching one device.
